THE CLAIM LADDER

Evidence should move slower than enthusiasm.

Brainwavest separates a working signal engine, a usable product, listener-reported experience, and controlled efficacy. Each is valuable. They are not interchangeable.

01
Active

Signal verification

Automated checks prove the published carrier, trajectory, mode, envelope, noise, timing, and safety bounds match the generated Core specification. This verifies implementation—not an outcome.

02
Collecting aggregate signals

Usability and preference

Anonymous activation, completion, return, and fit totals show whether people can choose, start, finish, and return. Local fit answers personalize Today without creating a person-level analytics record.

Observational outcomes

A consented cohort with preregistered questions, baseline measures, attrition reporting, and adverse-event capture is required before Brainwavest publishes outcome language.

04
Not yet claimed

Controlled efficacy

A comparator, sufficient sample, preregistered endpoints, statistical plan, and independent or clearly disclosed analysis are required. Marketing cannot promote this level before the study exists.

Publication rules

  • Define the claim before collecting data.
  • Publish inclusion, exclusion, sample size, comparator, endpoints, and limitations.
  • Separate preference from performance, and mechanism from outcome.
  • Report null findings, attrition, conflicts, and adverse experiences.
  • Never turn aggregate product analytics into medical evidence.
