Legal & Billing Governance

Refund & Billing Policy

Effective Date: August 29, 2026  •  Version 1.2  •  Brainwavest

Digital Products Notice

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, subscription charges are non-refundable once digital access begins. You can cancel renewal at any time from your Account Dashboard. Access remains active through the end of your prepaid period.

1. Digital Product Delivery & No-Refund Policy

Brainwavest provides immediate, unrestricted access to our proprietary neuro-acoustic soundwave library, real-time Web Audio synthesis engine, and interactive laboratory upon authorization of payment.

Subscription purchases and recurring membership fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated here. Because access begins immediately, we do not ordinarily issue full, partial, or prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations, unused time, or unplayed sessions.

2. Complimentary Sample Access & the 3-Day Free Trial

To ensure complete confidence prior to purchase, Brainwavest offers complimentary access to 3 full un-gated soundwave sessions without requiring a credit card or payment authorization. We strongly encourage all users to evaluate our audio engine, test headphone and speaker setup, and verify acoustic compatibility during this free tier prior to subscribing.

Beyond that sample access, new members may start a 3-day free trial of the full membership. The trial is limited to one per account and does require a payment method, which is authorized but not charged while the trial runs.

  • What you are agreeing to. Unless you cancel first, the trial converts automatically into the paid plan you selected at the end of day 3, and your payment method is charged on that date.
  • What you will be charged. $30/year by default, or $3/month if you selected the monthly option. The exact amount and date are displayed on screen before you enter a payment method, and repeated in your account.
  • How to stop it. Cancel at any time before that date from your Account Dashboard. You keep access for the remainder of the free days and are charged nothing.
  • If no card is usable. Where no valid payment method is on file when the trial ends, the membership ends rather than being billed. We do not pursue collection for an unconverted trial.

3. Self-Serve 1-Click Cancellation

You maintain total authority over your membership and may cancel automatic renewal at any time:

  1. Sign in to your account and open your Account Dashboard.
  2. Select Manage Membership to launch your self-serve billing portal.
  3. Click Cancel Subscription.

Upon cancellation, your credit card will not be charged again. You retain full, unhindered access to all 777 soundwave experiences until the exact end of your current prepaid billing cycle (monthly or annual).

4. Subscription Renewal & Billing Terms

Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring schedule matching your chosen plan:

  • Monthly Plan ($3/month): Billed automatically every 30 days until cancelled.
  • Annual Plan ($30/year): Billed automatically once per year (saving 17%) until cancelled.

Where a membership began with the 3-day free trial, the first billing date is the day the trial ends, and each subsequent renewal falls on that same cadence from that date.

By starting a membership, you authorize Brainwavest and our PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor (Stripe) to store your payment method and charge recurring fees automatically on each renewal date.

5. Billing Inquiries & System Exceptions

If you identify a duplicate transaction or technical payment processing error, please contact our support desk within 14 days at support@brainwavest.com. Verified technical errors or duplicate system authorizations will be promptly adjusted.
